Jennifer Thursfield ACA

Managing Director and Resident Tax Specialist at Thursfields

Our resident tax specialist at Thursfields, Jennifer is a fully qualified chartered accountant with 18 years’ experience. She is a proud Mum to two beautiful little girls and a long-suffering servant to Stan the cat.

Jennifer has a genuine love of the Potteries and is proud to come from a long line of local potters. Her potting heritage originates from the eighteenth century and extends to Wedgwood Pottery in Barlaston, where her Father spent his working life.

Rachel Holmes MAAT ACIPP

Payroll Manager & Head of Self-Assessment Services

Rachel is a qualified accounting technician and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Payroll professionals, with over 17 years’ accounting and tax preparation experience. Rachel expertly runs the payroll department at Thursfields whilst completing VAT returns, unincorporated accounts and self-assessment tax returns.

She has three lovely children, two handsome horses and is soon to be a bee keeper, so will no doubt keep us all in a good supply of honey.

Kerry Hooker MAAT

Accounting Systems Specialist & Head of Corporate Services

Kerry is our accounting systems specialist at Thursfields and is certified with all of the known accounting software providers. She completed her training within an audit firm and is a qualified accounting technician with over 6 years’ accounting experience. Kerry provides great support to new businesses and deals with our incorporated clients.

She loves nothing more than a good chick flick and her water-hating dog, Bailey.

Nicola Brownsword

Accounts Assistant

Nicola is our Accounts Assistant at Thursfields and brings many years of experience in accounts. She holds a level 4 AAT qualification and has a strong knowledge across a wide range of accounting tasks, helping to support our clients with their day-to-day accounting needs.

Outside of work, Nicola is a proud mum to two grown up children. She enjoys holidays, live music and spending time with her two miniature dachshunds, Bertie and Dottie.

Tanya Cliffe

Office Administrator

Tanya is our office administrator at Thursfields and provides support across all areas of the practice including client onboarding, AML administration and general day to day office operations. She is currently studying towards her AAT level 2 in Accountancy as she continues to develop her skills within the firm.

Outside of work, Tanya enjoys exploring the UK in her touring caravan with her Fiancé Dan and their much loved naughty Springer Spaniel, Mr Fred.
